Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GoShip ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person, one account.

Accounts created through automated means or misrepresenting identity will be terminated.

3. Assessments & Scoring

• Assessments must be completed by the registered account holder. Using another person or AI service to complete an assessment on your behalf is prohibited.
• Scores are generated algorithmically based on observed behavioral signals. GoShip does not guarantee any specific outcome from scores.
• Challenge solutions remain your intellectual property. GoShip does not claim ownership of code you write during assessments.

4. Bounties

Bounties are funded by employers. Award decisions are made by the employer based on submission quality. GoShip facilitates the process but does not guarantee bounty payouts.

Bounty awards are processed through the platform wallet. Payouts are subject to identity verification and applicable tax reporting requirements.

5. Employer Accounts

Employers with organization accounts may view public candidate profiles and scores. Employers agree not to misuse candidate data, discriminate based on protected characteristics, or contact candidates outside the platform without consent.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Reverse-engineering the scoring algorithm
• Submitting fraudulent or plagiarized assessment work
• Attempting to manipulate or game assessment scores
• Scraping or automated data collection
• Interfering with the MCP server or platform infrastructure

7. Limitation of Liability

GoShip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for employment decisions made based on assessment scores, lost bounty opportunities, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
