Requirements

A creature with hunger, mood and energy that change over real time, including while the device is off (time-since-last-seen on boot)

Three buttons: feed, play, sleep, with animations drawn on a 128×64 monochrome canvas

The creature evolves through three stages based on how it was treated

State persists in a small binary format with a checksum

A browser simulator with the same screen and buttons

A "sad" state that is genuinely a little sad
