A toy that plays grandma's stories

A plush toy with a speaker. Squeeze it and it plays a story recorded by a grandparent, chosen by who is holding it and what time it is. Build the recording app and the player logic.

Requirements

A phone-friendly web app where a family member records a story, names it, and tags it for a child and an occasion (bedtime, birthday, "when I'm sad")

Audio is normalised and trimmed of leading silence on upload

Player logic (runnable on a Pi or as a Node process) picks a story from the tags and the clock, never repeating yesterday's

A small admin page listing what has been played, so the family sees which stories land

Works fully offline once stories are synced
